Research Interests
Max works as a secretary for the Hamburg team. Prior he has gathered experience in the administrative branch of the University of Hamburg. As a Masters student, Max focuses primarily on Eastern European History and Global History. His special focus is propaganda and the history of images in the 19th and 20th century. In his bachelor thesis, Max examined German and Austrian post-cards during the Russo-Japanese war 1904-1905 and what type of sentiments were carried in the images created.
